The Incident Calendar allows districts to define which discipline incident and minor infraction actions appear on the calendar, customize how those events are displayed, and optionally enable attendance tracking for calendar events.

To access the Incident Calendar, navigate to Admin (red navigation) > Incident Calendar.

Who Can Manage the Incident Calendar?

By default, the Incident Calendar is managed at the district level. However, districts can choose to delegate Incident Calendar management to school administrators, allowing each school to customize its own calendar independently.

For instructions on enabling delegated administration, please see the How to Delegate Administrative Settings to School-Level Users (Calendars, School Info, Visibility, and Users) knowledge base article.

Incident Calendar Locations

When you open the Incident Calendar, you will see the schools available to you.

  • Reviewers will only see the schools they have permission to access.
  • Super Admins will see all schools in the district.

Event Status Settings

The Event Status Settings section allows you to configure event statuses such as Complete, Partial, and other attendance-related options.
For detailed instructions on configuring event statuses and attendance, please see the Configuring Calendar Event Status & Attendanceknowledge base article.

Adding a Calendar Event

To add a new calendar event type for a school:

  1. Select the desired school.
  2. Click Add Calendar Type.

  3. Choose the discipline incident action or minor infraction action you want to display on the calendar.
  4. Enter an Event Label. This is the name that will appear on the Incident Calendar and in calendar email notifications.
  5. Select a Background Color and Text Color for the event.
  6. Click Add Calendar Type to save the new calendar event.

Note: Any action from either Discipline Incidents or Minor Infractions can be mapped to the Incident Calendar.

Copying Calendar Event Types

If multiple schools should use the same calendar event configuration, you can use the Mass Copy button to copy calendar event types from one school to another. This allows you to quickly duplicate your calendar setup without recreating each event individually.

Attendance Tracking

If you want calendar events to write attendance or track event completion, you must configure Event Status Settings after creating your calendar event types.
For step-by-step instructions, please refer to the Configuring Calendar Event Status & Attendance knowledge base article.
