Managing Note Types (Add, Edit, or Disable)



First, log in to simpldiscipline and navigate to the Admin Area. Once there, select System Settings from the left-hand navigation bar.


Next, scroll to Notes settings and click on it to expand the section and view all existing note types.


To add a new note type, click on Add note type and follow the prompts to name and configure it.


If you want to enable or disable a note type for specific schools, find the note type in the list and use the toggle controls to turn it on or off for each school.


To edit the name of an existing note type, click the edit icon next to its name. Be aware that changing the name will update all existing data in the system that used that note type.


Note types cannot be deleted because they may be tied to historical records. If you no longer wish for a note type to be used, simply toggle it off for all locations.
