Configuring Incident Visibility by School | Grant Teachers Viewing to All Incidents/Infractions for Their Rostered Students

Admin Area > Security Settings

By default, in simpldiscipline, staff can only view incidents they have submitted. However, if you want ALL teachers to have access to all incidents submitted for their rostered students—including those submitted by other teachers and staff—you can adjust the visibility settings for each school individually.

Super Administrators should go to the admin area of simpldiscipline and select “Security Settings” from the left-hand navigation menu.



Select the correct settings you'd like


Make sure to save your changes by clicking the “Save” button at the bottom of the page.


NOTE: This setting turns on visibility for all staff for students rostered to them. If you are looking for individual staff permissions, please view this article. 

Additionally, simpldiscipline provides a separate count of incidents and infractions that allows teachers to see how many records exist without giving them access to view the details of those records.
