Due to a newly discovered worldwide security vulnerability, simpldiscipline may experience disruptions from Thursday, October 22, through Saturday, October 24.

During this period, the entire system may be unavailable at times. Even when the system is accessible, some features may be unavailable or may not work as expected. This could affect file uploads, translations, document generation, email notifications, and other areas of simpldiscipline.

We’re performing emergency maintenance in response to an issue outside our control and working to restore normal service as soon as possible.

Configuring Teacher Visibility by School | Grant Teachers Ability to See Discipline Incidents, Minor Infractions, Positive Referrals, and Notes for Rostered Students

Admin Area > Visibility settings

By default, in simpldiscipline, staff can only view incidents they have submitted. However, if you want ALL teachers to have access to all incidents submitted for their rostered students, including those submitted by other teachers and staff, you can adjust the visibility settings for each school individually.

Super Administrators should go to the admin area of simpldiscipline and select “Visibility” from the left-hand navigation menu.

Select the correct settings you'd like

Make sure to save your changes by clicking the “Save” button at the bottom of the page.

NOTE: This setting turns on visibility for all staff for students rostered to them. If you are looking for individual staff permissions, please view this article.

Additionally, simpldiscipline provides a separate count of incidents and infractions that allows teachers to see how many records exist without giving them access to view the details of those records.
