simpldiscipline Product Roadmap
The following features are committed to the simpldiscipline product roadmap. Estimated dates of completion and release are provided to be transparent with our customers when to expect new feature releases. These dates are strictly estimates and while our team works to adhere to the following release schedule, we may deviate from it when necessary.
This is not an exhaustive list of all features released within simpldiscipline for a given month/date; the features listed below are significant features requested by our customers that we believe will have a positive user experience.

| November 2024 | School Calendar Dates | ✅ Completed simpldiscipline will automatically restrict actions and action code assignment to active days from the school calendar. Administrators will be able to assign actions (and, if applicable, attendance) to in-session school days only. |

| 2025 | Convert Minor Infraction to Discipline Incident | ✅ Completed School administrators will be able to convert a minor infraction to a discipline incident. |
| 2025 | Include Notes and Positives on Student Summary Report | ✅ Completed Users will be able to generate a complete student record directly from the Student Summary page. This export will include all four components associated with the student: discipline incidents, minor infractions, positive referrals, and notes. The exported record will reflect the full history available to the user based on their role and viewing permissions. |

| March 2026 | Truancy Center Update | The Truancy Center will be updated to support students who attend or have attended multiple school locations within a district. Districts will be able to select and generate truancy letters using multiple school-specific letter templates for a single student, including cases where the student’s current enrollment school differs from the school where the truant absences occurred. Truancy calculations will be updated to be based on cumulative truant days across all schools within the district, rather than only the student’s current enrollment location. An additional filtering option will be added to allow districts to exclude students from truancy calculations and workflows based on student age as of a specified date. |
