simpldiscipline Product Roadmap
The following features are committed to the simpldiscipline product roadmap. Estimated dates of completion and relase are provided to be transparent with our customers when to expect new feature releases. These dates are strictly estimates and while our team works to adhere to the following release schedule, we may deviate from it when necessary.
This is not an exhaustive list of all features released within simpldiscipline for a given month/date; the features listed below are significant features requested by our customers that we believe will have a positive user experience.

| October 2024 | Additional Translated Languages | Expanding our existing translation languages for parent notification letters to include non-English languages such as the Cyrillic alphabet for Russian and Eastern European languages. These will include but are not limited to: Arabic, Russian, Ukrainian |
| November 2024 | School Calendar Dates | simpldiscipline will automatically restrict actions and action code assignment to active days from the school calendar. Administrators will be able to assign actions (and, if applicable, attendance) to in-session school days only. |
| November 2024 | Action Durations | Administrators will be able to select more advanced durations for assigned actions, such as a date range or remainder of the school year. |
| November 2024 | Positive Behavior Referrals | Teachers and staff members will be able to submit positive moments in the classroom, highlighting positive experiences instead of only negative discipline. |
| December 2024 | Real-Time Alerts | School and district administrators will be able to configure alerts to be sent and proactively intervene when conditions are met. This can include tardies, absences, and other triggers that will then send notifications, create incidents, and other actions. |
2025

| 2025 | Student Notes | School staff and administrators will be able to log "notes" for students that can include parent contact, parent conferences, and other details that are not tied to a specific "incident" but instead to the student. |
| 2025 | Teacher ISS/OSS Notification Email | Teachers will receive a notification email when an ISS/OSS is assigned for a student they teach. |
| 2025 | ISS/OSS Attendance | Staff will be able to mark if an ISS/OSS has been served from the Incident Calendar. |
| 2025 | Convert Minor Infraction to Discipline Incident | School administrators will be able to convert a minor infraction to a discipline incident. |
