Create an iOS (iPhone) or Android Shortcut for simpldiscipline

simpldiscipline is mobile responsive and adapts to smaller screen sizes in the browser of any device natively. simpldiscipline does not have an iOS or android application at this time. 

Users have 2 options:

1. If you are a ClassLink customer, download the ClassLink app on your phone. simpldiscipline will be available through the ClassLink app. 
2. Add an iOS or Android shortcut for simpldiscipline on your device homepage. 

iOS (iPhone) Instructions

1. Open Safari, the web browser on your iPhone 
   
2. Navigate to your district’s instance of simpldiscipline “ABC.simpldiscipline.org”
1. Be sure to use your specific instance. ABC should be replaced with your district domain
3. Open the share menu 
   
4. Scroll down, select “Add to Home Screen”
   
5. Confirm the name you'd like to use
6. Tap "Add" in the top right corner
   
7. Return to your home screen, and you should see the new shortcut icon for simpldiscipline
   

Android Instructions

1. Open Chrome, the web browser on your phone
   
   
2. Navigate to your district’s instance of simpldiscipline “XXX.simpldiscipline.org”
   
1. Be sure to use your specific instance. XXX should be replaced with your district domain.
3. Once the website loads, tap the three-dot menu button in the upper-right corner of the screen.
   
4. In the drop-down menu, select "Add to Home screen."
   
5. Confirm the name you’d like to use
   
6. Tap “Add”
   
7. You will be asked to place the icon. Drag it to your desired location on the home screen and release it.
   
8. Return to your home screen, and you should see the new shortcut icon for simpldiscipline
