simpldismissal integration setup: PowerSchool
simpldismissal integrates directly with the PowerSchool student information system. simpldismissal requires limited student and staff information as well as student course schedules to display student names on the dismissal board and allow staff to filter students by class. For more details on our student data privacy policy, please click here.
Once uploaded and installed, scroll down to the plugin in the plugin list and check the checkbox next to the plugin version number to enable it.
How to setup
simpldismissal is easy to setup in PowerSchool! You can setup our PowerSchool plugin which is detailed below, or you can setup automated CSV exports via Data Export Manager. For more information on automated CSV exports via DEM, please contact your simpledu represenative.Plugin setup details
To install simpldismissal as a plugin, navigate to System > System Settings > Plugin Management Configuration and click Install in the top right.
At the prompt, click Upload and select the plugin ZIP file. To obtain the plugin ZIP file, please contact your simpledu representative.
Once uploaded and installed, scroll down to the plugin in the plugin list and check the checkbox next to the plugin version number to enable it.
Once checked, a sidebar will appear. Click the Enable button.
Once enabled, navigate to the plugin in the plugin list and click its name. On the overview page, click Data Provider Configuration, and share the Client ID and Client Secret with your simpledu representative to complete the integration!
