Adding a custom link in Clever | simpldiscipline

You can add a Single Sign-On (SSO) shortcut for simpldiscipline to the Clever dashboard, allowing your teachers, staff, and administrators easy access. Although simpldiscipline does not directly roster through Clever, this SSO shortcut simplifies login and enhances accessibility.

Before adding a link be sure to get your district/school custom SSO link from your simpldiscipline representative. This is usually a combination of your district's domain or URL and a SSO provider like Google or Microsoft/Office 365.

You should also download the simpldiscipline icon. You will need to upload this to Clever during the process. 


To add a link: 
  1. Log in to your Clever Dashboard.
  2. Go to your Clever Portal by clicking the Portal icon in the top right corner.
  3. Click Customize Portal
  4. Click Add Link next to the category under which you want the new link to appear.
  5. Select Create a custom link
  6. Select an icon or upload a custom icon (download the simpldiscipline icon here)
  7. Fill out the required fields
  8. Select which user types (Staff & Teachers) and schools you would like to add the custom link for. Please note that if adding for selected schools, the link will only display for the user if the selected school matches the user's primary school association.
  9. Click Add/Save Link
  10. Click Publish Changes in the top right of the Clever Portal to save your customizations
