The Student Incident Summary Report provides a comprehensive view of a student’s activity in simpldiscipline. The report can combine discipline incidents, minor infractions, positive referrals, and notes into a single report, making it easy to review or export a student’s history.

Accessing the Student Incident Summary Report

  1. Navigate to the Reviewer Area.
  2. Select Quick Student Lookup.
  3. Search for and select the student whose report you would like to view.
  4. Locate the Toolbox on the student’s page.
  5. Select Incident Summary Report.

Choose What to Include

When the Incident Summary Report opens, you can customize which information is included.

By default, the report includes:

  • Discipline Incidents
  • Minor Infractions
  • Positive Referrals
  • Notes

You can toggle individual components on or off depending on the information you need.

Date Range

Use the date range options to limit the report to activity that occurred during a specific period.

This is helpful when you only need to review information from a particular school year, semester, quarter, or other timeframe.

Include Narratives

You can also choose whether to include narratives in the report.

When enabled, the report will include the narrative or descriptive information associated with the applicable records. If you only need a high-level summary of activity, you can turn narratives off for a more concise report.

Download or Print the Report

Once you have selected the information you want to include, there are two ways to export the report:

Download
Selecting Download exports the report data as a CSV file. This option is useful when you need to review, sort, filter, or analyze the student’s data in a spreadsheet.

Print
Selecting Print generates a formatted, chronological report of the selected student activity. From the print screen, the report can either be:

  • Printed to a physical printer, or
  • Saved as a PDF

The Print option is recommended when you need a readable, comprehensive student record for documentation, meetings, or record keeping.

Summary

The Student Incident Summary Report provides a single location to review a student’s documented history across simpldiscipline. By combining discipline incidents, minor infractions, positive referrals, and notes, administrators can quickly generate either a detailed chronological PDF or a CSV export for further analysis.
