As part of our incident notification process, both students and staff can receive email communications directly from simpldiscipline

Staff members may receive email notifications regarding updates to incidents submitted by administrators.

Staff members may receive notifications when an incident is submitted, depending on their role and communication preferences.

Staff members may receive incident notifications if an administrator chooses to include them in the notification, such as a guidance counselor.

During the notification process, teachers and administrators have the option to include associated students in the email notifications. This practice is particularly beneficial at middle/high school levels, where actions like lunch detention, Saturday school, or after-school detention are assigned to students. By including students in these notifications, we ensure they are promptly informed of such actions, fostering better communication and encouraging ownership of their behavior choices.
